Hiscox Syndicates called in Tier3 Consulting after realising that they were spending too much time on IT related issues instead of concentrating on developing their core business. We ensured current service levels across server and network infrastructure were maintained, then documented and streamlined the existing messaging, web, security, and network, systems. |

Homebase is a leading UK retailer selling everything for the home, from garden tools to exclusive bedlinen. Homebase wanted to improve its business processes by implementing a SAP system along side a Windows 2000 network infrastructure. The system was to connect its entire stores to the Wallington head office over a wide area network using frame relay technologies. The business driver behind this project was to improve the process of exchanging business information across the company's UK offices.
Tier3 Consulting worked with Homebase's internal IT teams and other suppliers to design, plan and implement the system based on its business requirements. This has introduced large cost savings and better information flow across the company.

Hexcel is the largest US producer of carbon fiber; the world's largest weaver of structural fabrics; the leading global producer of fiberglass electronic materials; the number one producer of composite materials such as honeycomb, prepregs, film adhesives and sandwich panels; and a leading manufacturer of composite parts and structures.
Hexcel's main offices in Duxford, Cambridgeshire had an old network infrastructure, which was not meeting its current business requirements. The business was growing steadily yet the network and application systems were unreliable. Tier3 Consulting worked with Hexcel to access its current systems and replace the relatively older network and migrate its messaging and operating systems from GroupWise and Novell NetWare to Microsoft Exchange and Windows NT respectively.
Hexcel's systems are now also in line with its American offices improving the process of exchanging business information across the world. |

Christian Aid is a leading charity supporting organisations in over 60 countries world-wide to eradicate poverty and also strengthening people to find their own solutions to the problems they face.
Christian Aid has approximately 30 offices across the UK and wanted to improve its current business communication processes. An existing dialup system was proving to be more expensive to maintain and did not meet Christian Aid's evolving business requirements.
Tier3 Consulting worked with Christian Aid's internal IT teams and external suppliers to design a Broadband Wide Area Network. On completion, it is expected to bring about large maintenance cost savings and also improve the process of exchanging business information across the organisation. |
